I almost started writing my cover letter here, since I’ve been typing it ad nauseum trying to gain some kind of employment in these harsh economic times-but nay, I say! This is my site and I shall divulge my personal and professional info in such a manner as I see fit!
To Whom it May Concern,
I am a highly motivated video editor with 4+ years film industry experience…
Seriously though, I edit videos. I also from time to time will dabble in the dark art of web development as you are witness from this explosion of blue on your computer screen. I’ll periodically post evidence that I am indeed what I claim to be on this site, which is a very optimistic forecast since the last update I had done on my personal website was in the good ol’ summer of aught five. But for realz (when you use the “z” at the end of words it means you mean business), I’ma be all up on this this time. I’ve even included a section for my acting stuff! I’m going to dig in the crates for your viewing enjoyment and my deep felt utter embarrassment as videos of a much younger me belting show tunes in tight leather pants make their way into the ether of public consumption.
My hope is that you find this site to be at the least, entertaining, and possibly inspiring. I’m all about using inventive creativity to bring solutions to the needs of clients and companies that aren’t necessarily creatively inclined. I’ll attempt to ooze it from this orifice/outlet of web development and if you are interested in hiring me, or you’ve got some great stuff you want to show off, or if you just want to drop me a line feel free to hit me up on twitter, or on facebook. I’d love to hear from ya.
There’s a blog as well that I hope to be making use of. Living in the New York City area, there never ceases to be things to write about, it’s just a matter of me taking the time to write them. It’ll range from anything from movie and video game reviews, to deep issues of the soul and God, to short videos of my friends doing ridiculous Karaoke. All in all be prepared for some extended periods of TMI and other like acronyms as I let myself go ranting and creating, freely and without abandon.
I present to you the third iteration of jaykimdotnet.
